Tracy Fenton

Tracy is an organizational consultant specializing in Executive development, team facilitation and organizational development.

She has over 20 years’ experience in the field of human behaviour change and has spent her career facilitating groups and influencing large, complex systems.

Tracy received her cognitive behavioral training with the Correctional Service of Canada and holds an International Executive MBA from Cornell University, New York and Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Tracy also completed a certificate in International Systems and Organizational Development with the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland in 2007-2008 (which took place in five countries outside North America over 17 months). She received her Executive Coaching training (pending review) through Teleos Leadership Institute in Philadelphia.

Tracy’s experience and work is rooted in strong theoretical and practical knowledge of management, adult learning principles, curriculum design and action learning. She focuses on individual Executive coaching, and group coaching at the senior leadership level. She is experienced in designing and facilitating retreats and meetings.

A key part of her practice is the design and implementation of leadership development programs. Her programs involve a variety of teaching methodologies including individual and group coaching, workshops and tutorials over a variety of media (online, phone, skype, in person). Currently, she is part of a three-person faculty team who designed and teaches a widely respected Executive leadership development program in Burlington Vermont, now in its
fourth sold-out year. She has also designed and currently teaches several in-house leadership development programs for various public and private sector organizations.

Tracy’s clients come from a wide range of industries and sectors, and are
primarily global organizations: Luxury retail, Consumer Products, Entertainment
(Television networks), Real Estate and Construction, Manufacturing, Post
Secondary Education, Government (at all levels), Health Care, Utilities, non-profit, Technology. She works primarily in the US, Canada and Europe.

Tracy was valedictorian of her MBA class and was selected by the Queen’s/Cornell MBA directors to be profiled in the October 2006 edition of Canadian Business magazine. She is a regularly requested speaker by leadership associations such as the Young Presidents’ Organization and Women in MBAs. She recently presented at TEDx Toronto.

Tracy’s primary language is English. She is also comfortable working with clients in French.

Tracy loves to play the piano (currently working on being able to play all 24 pages of Beethoven’s Opus 27, No. 2), bake, read, write and explore all forms of culture, especially dance, art and theatre. She is in the planning stage of a journey which will re-trace her maternal family’s exodus from Romania across Europe during WWII.
