Jim Allen

Jim Allen, a Mobius Consultant and Executive Coach, partners with organizations to develop trust as a core competency that inspires, accelerates and elevates performance. He co-founded Fusion Strategic Inc. in 2004, a Canadian-based, globally oriented consultancy focused on corporate cultural transformation, animating corporate values in business practices, and ethical excellence in governance, leadership, decision-making and management. Jim is co-author – with the Centre for Ethical Orientation – of a national study on the state and relevance of trust relating to culture, values and stakeholder relationships.

Prior to Fusion, he was the Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Marketing at CIBC. In this position he was responsible for advertising, marketing planning, market research, data base marketing and data warehousing. Jim began his career at CIBC in 1986 as a branch distribution officer, planning locations for new branches and since has held a number of positions in the areas of distribution network planning, channel management, customer segmentation and marketing. Before CIBC, Jim was an urban planner with the IBI Group and the Region of Peel.

Jim holds a Masters degree in Urban Planning from Queen’s University of Kingston and Simon Bolivar University in Caracas, Venezuela and a Masters of Divinity degree from the University of Toronto.
