Boris Diekmann

Boris Diekmann has over 15 years of professional experience in leadership development and organizational development. As a consultant, facilitator and executive coach, he has supported senior leaders in organizations such as Rolls Royce, NATO, Nomad Foods, Hertz, British Telecom, l’Occitance en Provence, Novartis, and Boots. He partners with senior executives, managers of all levels, experts, and front-line employees and has worked throughout Europe, the US, South America, Africa, and Asia.

The focus of his approach is helping leaders and their teams identify the ways in which their organizations serve both the many direct stakeholders with whom they work, and the wider community. His aim is to surface deeper sources of meaning and energy to drive transformational levels of change within leaders, their teams and entire organizations. His recent projects include culture-shaping change work, delivered across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, working with the retail and leisure pioneer, Majid Al Futtaim.

Prior to his work as a consultant, Boris was responsible for the Leadership Development activities at a global division at Siemens. For the past five years Boris has been a dedicated student and practitioner of ‘Appreciative Coaching.’ He is currently preparing to publish his book The Chief Energy Officer.

Boris studied Economics in Toulouse, France, and graduated with distinction from ESCP Europe following studies of international management in Paris, Oxford, and Berlin. For many years he lived and worked in London as well as Genova. He is married, and currently lives with his wife and two children in southern Germany. He plays the piano and ukulele to entertain family and friends when he finds a good enough excuse to do so. He is fluent in English, French, Italian and is a native German speaker.
