Our Approach to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

offered through our sister firm Seven Stones Leadership

Introducing Seven Stones Leadership Group

Healing Collective Trauma and Embodying Anti-Racism is Seven Stones’ signature learning journey that goes beyond leaning in, to breaking through to fight racism, sexism and to build a more just, compassionate, equitable and inclusive world.

In the summer of 2020, we experienced a global awakening around racial oppression and injustice amidst an equally difficult backdrop of a global pandemic. Many leaders and organizations continue to be challenged by how to both learn from these hard truths and also, to build adaptive, resilient and thriving cultures.

We examine racism from three vantage points—The Personal, The Interpersonal and The Structural—and address racism as the historical, vicarious, institutional and collective trauma that it is.

“Like rings on trees, we carry the history of separation, alienation and injustice in our bodies. Through our bodies, we unwind the old and build capacity to remember the truth of the interdependent and interwoven nature of all of life.”

Mobius stands together with those working to fight racism, sexism and to build a more just, inclusive and compassionate world. We are committed to the hard work of racial healing, gender dialogues and the path of cultural restoration of collective trauma.

To this end, we partner with our sister firm Seven Stones – founded and led by Gina LaRoche and Jen Cohen, who have devoted themselves to cultivating the deep expertise required of this work.

Seven Stones’ signature learning journey offers:

Information on how norms of whiteness, anti-Blackness, racism and inequity show up in our lives, workplaces, institutions and culture.
Personal reflection on the impact of embodied trauma, separation, scarcity and disconnection.
Tools and techniques to help integrate learning and imagine new ways of working, personally and professionally.
Self-regulation and co-regulation practices for improved wellbeing
An affinity group community to build capacity for cross-race dialogue that supports authentic relationships and deep belonging for everyone.

“Diversity is not as much about who occupies the space, as it is about who controls the space.”
