Rob Schilling
Rob Schilling is an executive coach with significant expertise working throughout the Asia-Pacific markets and across the globe. He works with managers, leaders and senior executives to help increase performance levels, make powerful career transitions and engage in individual development. He also specializes in team performance, helping high level management groups become more effective leaders and decision makers. Rob’s approach to coaching is to seek pathways, practices and paradigm shifts that will enable his clients to achieve sustainable levels of excellence.
Rob gained his initial coaching experiences beginning in 1985 while working with leadership program participants in the personal development industry. He later expanded his coaching to the corporate and executive coaching arenas. His coaching practice spans an array of industries, including pharmaceutical, FMCG, beverage, tobacco, chemical, sports apparel, banking, IT, insurance and many others. Client roles have included the Country Manager from a global sports apparel company, the global operations sourcing team from the same organization, the Group Treasury Head, and the CFO for a global drinks company and top executives from several Fortune 500 companies.
Rob uses a variety of diagnostic and facilitative tools including the MBTI Step I & Step II, DiSC, Mindex, Firo-B, Human Synergistics Survival Simulations, Hay Group ISE and Career Architect by Lominger. He earned his Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire. He did his coaching training with The Works Partnership in Hong Kong. Rob lived in the US until 1991 when he took a position in Hong Kong. He moved to Singapore in 1997, where he currently lives.
