Louise Hansell

Louise Hansell, MS

Louise Hansell brings over fifteen years experience to Mobius Executive Leadership in all aspects of human resources management, organizational development, leadership coaching and systems and process re-engineering using Lean Six Sigma.  In 2005, Louise was selected by Bombardier Aerospace to become an internal management consultant.  Following her graduation from Gita Bellin’s transformational facilitation program, she has focused her work specifically in the areas of employee engagement, executive coaching, leadership development and cultural interventions to build a high performance culture.

Louise has a long-standing and exemplary career at Bombardier Aerospace Group where she held many roles throughout the organization’s human resource function.  At her most recent post as Director of Organizational Effectiveness, she was responsible for managing a geographically dispersed team of Organization Practice Experts, and driving large-scale change initiatives for the Business Aircraft Division and Corporate Services of the company.   Louise advised senior executives on corporate culture change and people strategy, designing and leading multiple interventions to build high performance teams.  Prior, Louise had held roles as a Human Resources Business Partner, Corporate Advisor and Human Resources Advisor, leading all aspects of human resources and organizational development for a large business unit.

While at Bombardier in 1997, Louise was selected to be trained and certified as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, a process improvement and re-engineering methodology, and was responsible for leading its implementation throughout the Human Resources function for the company worldwide.  Along with coaching the Human Resources leadership team, she led the strategic deployment of Six Sigma across seven national and international locations, including selecting and coaching employees to be trained as Lean Six Sigma Black Belts and Green Belts.  She led or supported over twelve major process improvement projects with savings of over $3 million.

Louise received a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction in Industrial Relations from McGill University and a Master’s of Science in Industrial Relations from the University of Montreal (in French). Her MS thesis focused on the development of a balanced scorecard strategic management system for the Human Resources Corporate Role and was in part published in the Human Resources and Industrial Relations management society of Quebec magazine entitled L’Effectif in 2002.
