Julie Arsenault, MBA

Julie's career started over thirteen years ago as a corporate lawyer specializing in securities law and merger and acquisitions with an international law firm based in Montreal. In 2000, she decided to reorient her career after completing an MBA in international business development and strategic management working with international retail chains. She has since then been an active consultant mainly responsible for the development and implementation of the international strategic growth plans and launch of brands across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Her work has led her to work alongside the owners and leadership teams of several international companies dealing in conflict resolution and resolving complex structural and organizational cross cultural issues.

In recent years, Julie has focused on leadership development, executive coaching, cultural assessment, and team dynamics. She is currently designing an innovation/ creativity workshop using the arts to enhance organisational performance.

Julie is an active volunteer in areas of youth mentorship and the arts. In 2002, she founded ArtCorp, a group of 25+ women from various artistic and corporate backgrounds paired together to create monthly events to discuss social, political and economic issues and focus on developing unique ways to foster creativity in the workplace and at home. Julie also chairs artsScene Montreal, a division of Business for the Arts, a group of leading business professionals dedicated to fostering the growth of the arts in Canada through volunteerism, patronage and support. She is also a member of the board of directors of Porte-Parole, a documentary theater company.

She has a Degree in both Civil and Common law cum laude from the University of Ottawa, Canada, and graduated with an MBA from the University of British Columbia and London Business School (International Exchange Program).
