Elizabeth Ward, PhD

Dr. Elizabeth Ward serves as a Mobius Consultant and Executive Coach. She helps people function at their peak performance level and her breadth of expertise carries from sports to business. Her experience ranges from assessing draftees for the Vancouver Canucks and working with elite athletes/senior staff to assessing and coaching business executives/lawyers for peak performance. Additionally, Elizabeth consults for Hult International School of Business and Harvard University’s Academic, Athletic and Personal Excellence program.

Elizabeth’s unique framework to help people achieve their best comes from her training in psychology and her experiences as a competitive athlete. As a leading ice hockey player who competed for Harvard University and internationally against Olympic athletes, she keenly understands the requirements necessary to work as part of a dynamic team and to perform at exceptional levels.

Elizabeth has worked for ten years as a coach and licensed psychotherapist. She completed Fielding Graduate University’s Evidence Based Coaching program and earned her doctorate degree in psychology.  She is skilled in using the MBTI, Bar-on EQ-i, VIA Signature Strengths and other validated assessment instruments. Elizabeth is an active member of Harvard Professor Ellen Langer’s mindfulness lab as well as the American Psychological Association, Association for Applied Sport Psychology, and the Wellesley Centers for Women.
