David Kaufman
David Kaufman has dual areas of expertise: interpersonal communication/relationship management and providing innovative energy solutions for professional corporate environments. In his coaching and training practice, David helps his clients to bring out authenticity and strength of presence in all aspects of their lives. As a result, his work produces greater productivity and teamwork through candor, ease under pressure, and expanded presence of mind. An important aspect of his work is helping people identify ideas and assumptions that may challenge flexibility. The primary goal is increased competence concomitant with a greater enjoyment of working life. His extensive group facilitation experience and training in personal growth systems enables him to provide a powerful approach to challenging corporate environments and executive dilemmas.
David has led groups and workshops since 1987 in the United States, Germany, and Asia, and has extensive experience helping people from different cultures deal effectively with one another. His education includes the National Training Laboratory, studying The Human Element business productivity model with Will Schutz at Esalen Institute, a B.A. from Colorado College (Phi Beta Kappa), and graduate work in Group Dynamics at UC Berkeley. He is trained in numerous stress management systems. David also works on a consulting basis helping individuals and businesses to create more efficient and comfortable physical environments. More recently, he has been expanding his teaching to include more formal models for negotiation, intervention, and mediation.
