Angela Wagner, CPCC
As a Professional Executive Coach, Angela Wagner, CPCC, has worked with over 2500 coaching and training clientsover the last seventeen years ranging from C-suite executives and VPs to directors and line engineers. Angela's clientshave expressed a profound appreciation for her unique blend of powerful executive presence, business savvy, and approachable compassion, honed from her hands-on experience in management and executive positions in the Aerospace, Financial, Media & Entertainment, Retail, High Tech, Government and Services industries.
Angela started her high performing career early: At 19 she published original research in peer-reviewed Psychology journals; at 20 she presented to seasoned psychologists from around the world at various national and regional psychological associations; and at 21 she was the first American to be accepted by the Institute of Psychiatry, in London, to do research and psychotherapy.
Angela quickly rose through the ranks at Accenture, the global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. Committed to delivering innovation, Accenture collaborates with its clients to help them become high-performance businesses and governments. Angela distinguished herself among approximately 146,000 professionals in 49 countries as a top-performing global leader.
A dynamic and creative facilitator, Angela founded and co-created "Coach Skills for Effective Leadership". These in-demand group sessions - designed for high performing, high potential next generation leaders - quickly became a part of the elite Leadership Development Program at Accenture. This extremely popular leadership model was leveraged among leaders throughout Europe, Asia, and North America in less than a year simply by referral.
Angela spearheaded internal coaching at Accenture and became the firm's first full time senior executive coach. Founder of the Accenture Coaching Community of Practice, Angela mentors many coaches-in-training. She has led the design and development of a variety of global programs on Leadership Development, Sales Performance, and other capability development areas.
After a distinguished career as a top performing Accenture executive, Angela left the corporate world in order to provide coaching and leadership development consulting, thereby fully leveraging her diverse background. Angela’s credentials in the coaching arena are equally as impressive as her business experience. She is a sought-after executive coach, operating by referral only, and specializes in executive leader impact, effectiveness, and fulfillment. Angela has been invited to speak at high profile conferences and consortia, and is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Executive Coaches Summit - a think tank of top executive coaches worldwide.
Angela completed coach training at the world-leading, ICF-certified Coaches Training Institute and will complete advanced graduate coach training in April 2007. She is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and anticipates receiving her Master Certified Coach credential, the highest awarded by the ICF, in early 2007. Angela holds a double Masters in Counseling Psychology and Social Psychology (summa cum laude).
On a personal note, Angela is active in local community and international efforts for health and wellness, homeless and at-risk youth, AIDS in Africa, potters caste in India, orphanage in Romania, and has committed a portion of all revenues to the Access Life Foundation, which helps people with mobility impairments achieve greater access to life.
