Allison Conte, MS
As a strategic partner, leadership advisor and organization development consultant, Allison specializes in generating transformative, sustainable change in complex systems. She works with leaders to solve "wicked" problems, generate breakthrough strategies and increase agility in individuals, teams, and organizations.
For twenty years, Allison has worked with organizations of all sizes across a variety of industries, including energy, financial services, health care, manufacturing, publishing, and higher education. Her expertise includes applications of Integral Theory, Gestalt Theory, Appreciative Inquiry, systems thinking, complexity science, emotional intelligence, developmental psychology and Holacracy.
Allison founded her own consultancy, Conte & Company, in 1991. In addition to her independent practice, she serves as a senior consultant at Hawthorne Consultants (Boulder, CO), and collaborates with Alchemy Consulting (Denver, CO), Enlight Advisors (Cleveland, OH) and Stagen Leadership Institute (Dallas, TX). Allison also serves as a master executive coach in Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management Executive Education program and as a guest lecturer at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.
Allison's current work involves whole-system organizational transformation that integrates strategy, top team alignment, organizational design, governance, culture change, leadership development and executive coaching. Also in recent years, she has designed and delivered comprehensive leadership development programs for multi-national corporations.
Allison's clients have included Alcatel/Lucent, Americhem, BP, Cleveland Clinic, Colorado Rural Health Center, Corporate College, Cuyahoga Community College, Greater Cleveland Partnership, GOJO, Hospice Compassus, Jumpstart, National Association of Manufacturers, National City Bank, Netherlands Bureau of Statistics, Nordson, Penton Media, Rocky Mountain Institute, Sherwin Williams, Stagen Leadership Institute, The Intergenerational School, University of Denver and Vocational Guidance Services.
Earlier in her career, Allison worked as a corporate communications consultant and managing editor for several business magazines. She has published dozens of articles on leadership, organizational change, sustainability and corporate responsibility, as well as a book about knowledge management.
